    I was there on Laetare Sunday. Did they just move the altar all the way back?

      The altar that you see is a temporary altar. The former altar was disassembled and moved until the concrete under the sanctuary is removed. Then the old altar will be modified to be attached to the high altar backing. This will begin after Easter and will be done around the end of April
