Update 3: A parishioner [?] of the Church responded to the Lepanto story as can be seen below. And as a side note at St. Stans we too allow children to dress as saints on all saints day, but to dress as star wars characters is another thing (at least to me, but to each his own I guess):

This is a great reason to return to the sacredness of the extraordinary form of mass everywhere. There is just too much playing around with the Novus Ordo, even though Pope St.John Paul II put an end to "experimentation" way back in the 1980's. Shortage or not, heretics need to be excommunicated. Time to clean up the church.
ReplyDeleteThe TLM to me is The True Form of The Latin Church. Only with the coming of the Novus Ordo Missae, did all this use of Terminology of TLM & NOM begin. I remember when it was The Mass or The Holy Sacrifice Of The Mass.
ReplyDeleteI watched the Destructive Effects of The Novus Ordo, where it began to reflect in Mass Schedules changing. At One Time in my old Parish in Brooklyn, there were 10 Masses on Sunday. Today, that is the WEEKLY Total.
